Throwing this one up here as a scrap u 3u I was working on a duo pic of Twilight!Hana and K', both of whom just made their debut. Didn't like how the K' half was coming out art-wise and then, while trying to draw Twilight!Hana actually helped give me some ideas to differentiate the design a bit from the primary reference, I also wasn't having any such luck on the K' side. So just decided to quickly splash on some color to the very rough doodle.

But also did help work out Hana's characteristics with Digimentals o 3o; I actually... have trouble imagining her with anything other than her blue hair, so I decided that it's always gonna stay, just often get a new style + have her eye color change instead.

...I also found it funny that I realized that my two characters with the longest hair (though maybe drew Hana's a little long here) both have very similar Very Blue hair XD

My break is over so of course I get stuff posted now rather than all the other days. Then again, I was recovering from one of the worst school years, so pray for my sanity.

Since my previous design was lost to the old computer, and it was kinda outdated anyway, so I put this together over the last couple of days. Shown here are the male and female base variants, complete with Crown Driver (the buckle and device interface) and the Transbadge, which teleports arsenal either from the Digivice (blue) or Avalon's armory (red). The exact item being transmitted is recognized through thoughts being converted into data and told through the fingertips. This is a quick and easy process in suit, though takes more concentration when out of suit.

The wave is heavily condensed Digizoid, with the integrity of the suit dependent on the amount of LoE coursing through it and the force applied on it. This is why the suit can be bullet proof, resistant to levels of radiation, and tear proof one minute, then can be torn like Christmas wrapping paper the next.

I'll have separate pics for the badge and driver later, possibly.

XD Aside from Roy Mustang over here, I agree that the uniforms look great. I love how 1:1 you got them while still adjusting for female anatomy. There were some parts that could use some lasso tool editing like the forearm length on the female model, but this is some great design!

Alice's texture work has my attention the most on this pic. Hrist is a close second with the hints of scales you put in, but if the goal was for the eyes to always fall back on Alice you succeeded given the difference of detailing. Appropriate considering she's top bitch in that bed too >_>;

The main point for the alternate take is to establish the loose appearance difference when her hair is down; the pink is more prevalent on the inside, so appears to start higher up when her hair's not braided.

Though unlike my more demure, glasses-wearing first DU character and her magician counterpart, Luz is still 100% herself as a performer XD ...Poor girl wishes she had Camille's confidence, but she's much more the way of someone like Hanabi when it comes to that department >_>

This is the Digimental of Courage evolution for Visaurmon, BonePyraurmon being the leading candidate for the name.

Actually thematic reason why the evolution is effectively a stripped down skeleton + Courage armor. I don't think this is quite there; maybe needs another piece of armor or two, maybe I need to simplify the skeleton some more since it's based on the greater complexity of a more squished-down looking SkullGreymon, or maybe I should have just splattered on more fire effects since he is supposed to have a more consumed by flames look o 3o;

Super rough concept I'm workshopping. This is the partner of someone popping up in World Tour. Visaurmon (vision, as in spirit/appiration, + saur, with a bit of "vice" for good measure, take that Cam always complaining that I make up random words for Digimon names >_>)

Taking some inspiration from Kamen Rider Revice's demons, he is a dinosaur and ghost mashup with evolutions styled largely in similar manners and as chimeras etc.

I... like what I'm onto? But also not sure if there should be a little more to the design? The dinosaur elements are almost supposed to sorta be occupied-spirit, here I drew them more like a Gabumon's pelt, I almost feel like maybe I should drop the "ghost" hands underneath and only have the dinosaur arms? I also drew the transition from dinosaur parts to bare skeleton pretty suddenly, thinking the shift should be a bit more gradual. Also debating having the bottom legless ghost blob at all and maybe basically combining that into the tail instead?

If Nana's not the character I've drawn the most, then she's second to only Jade... but I haven't drawn Nana in forever o 3o;;; I also noticed that in said forever ago I had developed a tendency to keep exaggerating her, from the poofiness of her hair to some of her proportions. So kinda wanted to do a bit of a reset to get her back where she's supposed to be. Short, a bit of a natural thickness to her, athletic but not too muscular, with a not-overblown emphasis on her hips and thighs.

Decided to draw her in something Lio Gold-inspired from the Armor Sentai Crownranger thread; didn't come out exactly as desired,but didn't want to spend a lot of time on this u 3u

I admit that was the problem with finding a pose like this that I liked while trying to do "okay let's nail her proportions" XD It was hard for me to get them exactly in this pose. They are thicc and toned, yes, Divine Crown Lion's low center of gravity is dependent on them. But are they maybe a bit much here?

Like besides referencing some of my own old Nana art, Cam's ooooold cheesecake of her here: http://www.dnatamer.net/oekaki/pictures/OP_986.png was something I considered hitting her pretty well (while as my older art of her kinda trended either a bit to thin or a bit too thick).

So yeah, maybe I tried a bit too hard on the thickness? I do like Nana's bodytype as something a bit unique, we have petite small girls and we have fit small girls, but she's a sort of both naturally athletic and naturally soft that's a bit bottom heavy u 3u

I felt like taking yet another stab at Roux to continue to work on my general Digimon designs. I looked toward some more catgirl refs as well as Jess's design/Cam's art for Maneshimon, taking inspiration from the former on the use of bracers and thigh-highs as a simple point of delineation between more animal and human bits o 3o

Design's not quite final... belt should probably be a bit bigger, a "digital" camo pattern might be more appropriate for her top, and was unsure of whether to stick with the new shorts look or just extend them to the thigh bands, but Cam has interest in putting a cherry on top of her design at some point, so I figured I'd just cut my losses here XD

Probably should actually draw her with her rifle at some point again, especially since "Sniper Cat" was the original starting point for her design u 3u
