Everyone knows I’m a big Cthulhu Mythos guy, and I have a whole reservoir of ideas for it, mostly for the Delta Green setting. And one of the ideas quietly kept on the back burner is the “Mermaid Fanciers’ Society”, a cult/society/problem group that’s basically a bunch of college kids who have horny encounters with the Deep Ones (Mythos fish people) and get inducted into Cthulhu worship and post it online.

So Cam and I are talkin, Aquan Digimon fuckers get mentioned, AND I tell him that hey a DU version of this group would…just be Aquan fuckers. That’s it, that’s the club’s (w)hole goal. AND NOW THEY EXIST

I was given an ethnicity and after looking at some photos I used Nico Robin from One Piece as a starting point for how I wanted the nose to look. Made of modified Chrome Digizoid alloy laced with Blue Digizoid for speed and loaded with all sorts of tech and countermeasures, it is the most direct translation of the FATE nanocomplex , integrated with it 100% without having to, you know, tear his skin apart. Originally more knight looking, Asher requested that it be redesigned to be less heroic. This face is for the enemy, not the victims.

Seventh Seat of GEMINI Division and Vice President of St. Eld's Student Council, Ianthe is a flamboyant theatre kid to her very core. Despite being in high school like her Vice-Captain she fits the glamorous babe aesthetic that Cpt. Vermillion surrounds himself with. As a seated officer she is a ringbearer, in her case equipped with the Truth Ring by her commanding officer. I was told her flamboyance extends to her eyewear, and binging Kamen Rider Legend (GORGEOUS) clips contributed to what was originally a pretty simple design you could find in any glasses store.

Jammin's shades. He is punk down to his bones, having a regent hairstyle and wearing his uniform open and for the longest time without a shirt under it. He believes in absolute manliness, brothers helping brothers, and tough love!

That has not stopped him from appreciating cute things, however. Or rather, cute girls. The cuter the better! As such he has a poorly hidden crush on Vice-Captain Nepeta, and for whatever reason can't grasp the fact that she is off the market and was probably never interested in her. He respects Regulus, and even with his rough and tumble mannerisms is concerned about his leader becoming so ruthless in the wake of the Malice Phenomena. His partner is the most manly cat, Otokatmon.

Also, he might be a little nervous about Sixth Seat Puma Fang coming for his position, especially as he was one of Puma's bullies way back when.

Back in pic #1248 drew the top five officers of LEO Division, and there was a red mark on the face of 4th Seat Taniya Richards. It was a tattoo common among LEO Division officers during the era of Regulus's predecessor Alexander Hercules, who at the time ran things like a roving and violent gang.

Once Regulus took over the brand became something that meant one of two things:

1. You were the old guard and survived the gauntlet to remain in LEO Division. You wear this emblem as a reminder of where you came from.

2. You were more loyal to Hercules than Noinheim, and you weren't staying long.

Sorry about that. XD; But as you had fun and the final product is really boss-looking we’ll call it okay.

Anyhow this is the current form of Onitokkou (“Oni-Slayer”, yes that’s what the reference), familial samurai sword of the Nagisa family. It was first wielded by the Sword-Saint who invented the Akusenkutou-ryu school that Akurei, Regulus, and others famously use; it’s passed down to the eldest in the Nagisa line, and they all make slight adjustments to the blade for their own comfort.

In the case of Motoru, Akurei’s famous uncle and Saiga’s former partner in the CCPD, he disliked the CCPD service revolver, feeling that it was too frequently used in err—so he took his apart, melted it down, and hammered it into a rotatable tsuba. The commissioner was furious, but what are you gonna do?

Akurei has made the most radical adjustments yet, given that he’s had it reinforced with Demon Metal from Soullock and infused the sword blade itself with Lost Drive transmission veins, enabling it to transform and take on new shapes as the Preserver needs; it’s also given the blade a bit of a sassy “personality”, though it seems to defer to Akurei in a pinch.

And rounding things out is a concept sketch for K's upcoming Digimental of Mischief supplement.

Back in the day, all the Fairlions had a Fairleomon evolution that I've dropped. While Iris's Lex will eventually get around to activating a reformatted version as her B-Line, it's been wiped out from the other Fairlions. I, however, did decide that I'm into the notion of giving the other three a lion-themed evo, but rather using Digimentals to achieve something that better lines up with their personalities and views on being a Fairlion. K' is the first, using a Digimental of Mischief that creates a lioness-themed punk thief. Jane's evolution, still without a name, is a loosely prisoner-themed brawler.

Compared to Crown Rogue (and a longstanding Mischief!Camille concept) that lean strongly toward femme fatale archetypes, I'm making sure to stress the youthful punk aspects with Mischief!K', which also informed my choice of a jacket and shorts as opppsed to a catsuit or leotard etc. The thief theme is mainly based around a few pieces of gear - her goggles and clawed gloves. The gloves are actually important as they/the supplement alter use of K's Spectral Chains Enhancement some - the breadth of their use is limited some, but she's able to keep chains activated much longer to use for grappling and as weapons etc, and will be a stepping stone for K' to improve her own mastery with her DE (a theme that I plan to continue with the others' lion-themed evos).

Here is concept art for Verita Nguema. Another St. N's student, and another friend of K'. Though she is a tamer and a member of the Daedalus Initiative.

Since she was originally conceptualized along with Paige, there's some fun duality between them. Paige is really shy looking and flustered, but knows what she wants and how to get it. Verita is disciplined and composed, but not really sure what she wants and not always as confident as she looks.

Paige I already kinda have a good idea of what she wears, just didn't really have a standard outfit in mind that I wanted to establish. Verita, on the other hand, I decided to take a bit of time to consider how she dresses, falling on "athletic punk". She dresses to project confidence, which is why I decided to add something bright to the otherwise mostly black clothing, while wanting to reach a bit for a different flavor of punk/goth than Jade/Hana/Iris/etc made me settle on the exposed fishnets.

Verita's from Bioko, the island portion of Equatorial Guinea (the only Spanish-speaking country in Africa, hence her first name). Verita is partnered with a Vorvomon - there's a loose theme going on; Verita has a sort of volcano-themed Enhancement, Bioko is a volcanic island, home to a lizard called the fire skink, which has orange, gold, and black scales.

A club for a later thread/mission idea, DragoMotive are actually tied to Diabolic Engine, being a street racing gang that broke away from them early on. They are all about running loose on the streets with super up bikes and cars, and utilize D-Fields to really show off and make their races akin more to a wickedly hazardous take on Mario Kart. If they don't have a Vehicular Digimon then their vehicles have illegally obtained mods to interface their Digivices and Digimon installed. The group are big fans of Team Speed Queens, and will go so far as to act as bodyguards for them during rallies. As such, some of the older Team Speed Queens members will officiate DragoMotive's races, especially when other Tamer Clubs big and small get involved.

I love how I had hardly any notes for this team and it was going to stay that way so they can be a short lived one-off team.

And then the "Youthful Rebellion" mission allowed me to make up a few NPCs and things spiraled from there.

SO! Team Diabolic Engine! Originally they were club that was very much a gang, utilizing Demon Digimon almost exclusively as they go around basically spreading trouble on a whim while riding heavily modified motorcycles or muscle cars.

And then the spiral. Diabolic Engine is, in actuality, quite large of a Tamer Club owing to the gang mentality, which includes the gang having chapters that each deal with particular areas or even cities. One such chapter is in "Youthful Rebellion", and their direct leader will be who Asher, Camille, and Frey contend with while the big boss looks on with interest.

As for said big boss:

Super quick concept idea for a Live Disguise for Ashley's Lagomon partner, Babs o 3o;

More of a loner among super social Lagomon, she hasn't kept a Live Disguise, but will very soon want one for... reasons.

The look was inspired a lot by FE Engage's Merrin; as mentioned, with her being more of a loner not as driven by Typical Lagomon Things, I also felt like a slightly more androgynous, fit vibe to how she presents herself (albeit emphasizing some more quite feminine touches for alluded Reasons) works well with that. I stayed close to Babs' color scheme as established in this pic (even opting for Babs to keep her choker), while the general theme of her sweater, white shirt, and yoga pants was "old clothing Babs could pull out from Ashley's closet". She'll have a coat too, probably blue, but I wasn't quite sure of its design yet (plus omitting it made a quick on/off dual shot a lot easier >_>

Oh ho,I dig! Clothing looks pretty sharp, intellectual yet casual. I also love the collar look. I love when LDs still keep the color scheme of the Digimon. o3o

OK, so my entire plans for the week changed in the last eight hours and I realized that I would have gone an Xmas without any sort of smut or cheesecake, and dammit as little as I care about this Christofascist Capitalist Bullshit Holiday (tm) the sexy Santa and elf outfits are a tradition I can get behind.

So with little time before I have to drive out, and because I had mentioned drawing her with the Wookie like a week ago, cheesecake of dear Kylikki Lipati of VIRGO Division, a free love healthy girl who only believes in good vibes!

...And her Gammamon who will make sure said vibes are good or someone is catching a claw to the face!

Excellent work on the shine with her skin. Lineart feels a little harsh here, maybe recoloring to a shade closer to the skin tone? but that's a personal nitpick. For the fur texture I find it conveys more texture when I layer it over the lineart or at least have parts "escape" the lineart.

Started on this one a bit ago after having ideas about it for months but lacking the mental stability to actually do it, you know how work goes.

An argument between Hi-SpecKuwagamon of the Kernel Institute and Nyarlathmon of the Crimson Sanctuary? Really? NO. Never!

Yeah...yeah they've been like this for a time dating back multiple other Zonemaster administrations, and as rookie Zonemistress Vitalimon has discovered, even timing for the tea to come out at the same time offering the same flavor will not keep these two from finding some topic to bicker over.

She'll learn.

First time I've drawn CaptainGreymon in awhile and a proper redesign of Primusmon from the blatantly Zordon-looking design he had prior. Truth told, I haven't drawn Primusmon since the old oekaki program, so it was high time for a redo.

The coloring style I was trying from the Digimon Web illustrations that come out every so often from Bandai. It's a simpler style that kinda speaks to me. o3o

It turned out well! iirc the original idea was 3 ZMs in the back, but what with the finger and tentacle dropping it down to two was a much better choice.

I do think Granzon and Calli are my favorite parts xD

A Tamer Club made up of Avian Digimon Tamers, their members are more heroically minded and use their partner’s flying ability to patrol Cyan City and the Digital World for trouble. They can be reckless, but their hearts are in the right place.

How will they manage when the local vigilantes are very iffy about new faces butting in? Only time will well.

Resolution crunched some of it, going to see if Graham or Jess can't work their magic in the mean time.

The idea behind this banner is to show someone at the moment before a Contract is made, the seconds before they hit "what is your wish" and a Digivice manifests itself and awakens their LoE. For that reason I wanted to not use an established DU character. Originally it was going to be a girl, but after some consultation over the idea of "anyone can become a Tamer" I went for a more androgynous appearance, the only requirements I had were "high school student" and "must have glasses". As for the Digimon going on with the idea of the NPC here being either male or female plants became the last piece to that theme. The effects are how Digimon look before they are fully realized, and the effect I took from how Digimon Ghost Game rendered them.

For the Digimon I somehow ended up with eight of them, but I know that I wanted an even number of established Digimon and DU customs. As such:

Yakiimon (Digimon Xros Wars/Young Hunters), Sunflowmon (Digimon Savers), Woodmon (Every Digimon anime save for Applimonsters), and Palmon (Digimon Adventure/Adventure:).

Rosamon (fr. Jason), Efosmon (fr. Justin), Bellfloramon (fr. Justin), and Tenoderamon (fr. Graham).

Hopefully the non-crunchy version goes up soon, but I really enjoyed this one. If this is the last drawing I post before work breaks me again I can at least smile about it. And who knows, I may make other banners in the future that follow this NPC as they grow as a Tamer.

Even muted, the Digimon still pop really well.

Shame that the Bellfloramon booba got covered by the logo, but dem's the brakes >_> I do really like the touches you put on the design, though.
