Alright, so I'm cleaning out my closet as I go back to Savannah this Saturday and my dad wants to move to another house. I decide that before I leave town I'll pack up majority if not all of my stuff in boxes and labeled so it's all easy transport.

Now, among these various finds like old toys (I found my original Mega Man toy from the Ruby-Spears cartoon, and even an old Beetle Bonder from Beetleborgs Metallix), I found some old notebooks I used to doodle in between doing actual classwork, dating back to middle school. Among this, and I completely forgot I had or did this, some old comic trips from when I was a Pokemon fanatic, and notes about DDT.

Yes, notes. I had this shit brewing from middle school and I know full well I didn't try this shit til...HIGH SCHOOL. So, let's look at some of the early notes, won't we? I don't know if I plan to scan this old shit in...don't even think I can reproduce it since it's so fucking weak the challenge would be to mimic such crap drawing, but hey, I had no formal training back then.

Let's start with a couple characters. Ryota Kenkaku and Ryuuzamon did not exist.

Akira and Ryuugimon did. Yes, there names were Akira and Ryuugimon, back when the only Japanese I knew was "gomen", not "gomen nasai", just gomen, and "nani". And good GOD Ryuugimon was ugly. He looked like a cross between Guilmon and MewTwo. Also, for some reason Akira wore a cape.

And DAMN the DNA combinations were simplistic as fuck. All it took was one DNA to completely change up a Digimon apparently. X_X;

Sworddramon still existed, amazingly, meaning Swordy's older than the official game. However, back then he had only one arm blade and he kept a shield on his back ala Link from LoZ.

Dagrus and Stragomon still existed, but Stragomon turned into some black armored Angemon thing called Bladedramon, who dual wielded swords. No idea how that fits into Dark Rider now, they were big ass swords..X_X;;

Finally, and this confuses me a shitload. It's a blue, yellow bellied Digimon that looks like the Dash Virus from the Rockman.EXE games, of course called Dashmon. He turned into Lancermon, and I have no fucking idea who was supposed to be his partner. He looks like one of the Dragoons from Final Fantasy. X_X;

Then we come on to more confusing peoples. What I'm guessing was the prototype for Daisuke, we had a bandana wearing dude named Shin, who's partner was a wolf type called Wolfangmon. If that's not enough, he had a habit of fighting Stone, who at the time..had really spiky hair, a scar over his left eye, and he was more of a bullying gym teacher than a leader. X_X;;

Oh ho, and I found the Guard Teams. Originally, there were only FIVE teams. Wild Sword, who's leader was some fuck named Shido, Dark Rider, who's leader was then and still is Dantes Vincent, Deep Savers...who's emblem looked more like a glacier, had a team leader named Luna, Knights of the Round and its leader Leo (probably inspired by the Lunar 2 character) and finally Sky Prism, led by....Wind.

..the Sky Prism leader's name was WIND.

And here's one, CAIN had a fucking team, so I guess originally I was gonna let people be villains if they wanted. Here's another one that gets me, though, two things really. One was that CAIN was done as C.A.I.N. as if I knew what the fuck that anagram would mean, and two being that it had many Generals. Fuck that, we only had the Dark Five and that was good enough.

I'm sure I'll find more crap as it comes up. In the mean time why don't some of you share your early notes on your characters. Might make me feel a bit better about myself. ;_;

Christ X_x Nine times out of ten, my characters are inspired by both whim, and inspired by some figure that shows up at one point or another.  If I had "Earlier Plans" I'd be glad to tell you, but I'd be lying through my teeth if I did.

And even more developments.

Originally, CAIN was a fully sentient being, not some big creepy organism/program ala the D-Reaper from Digimon Tamers. However, in hindsight I believe I had based him/her/it/fuzzah on the villain Cain from the first Tenchi Muyo movie, who was a prick. DDT'S C.A.I.N., and no I still have no idea what that anagram would be, maybe I should hold a contest to see who can make the best one, was fully aware of what he was doing at all times, and his power didn't up and kill people, it absorbed them for later use, meaning at first every Dronae could be cured and returned to normal. Ideally, this would have meant a lot of deaths would be voided out, but I like the drama.

^^;; ehehehee...Ryota, you should be nicer to me. From point A Ryota here would have had a girlfriend. Before Izumi came along, there was a Sky Prism girl who was originally gonna be attracted to Ryota and would become his main squeeze. She was a blonde girl...with blue eyes....um...actually, she looked a hell of a lot like Kirie...

Ryota: WHAT?!?!?! O_O

Damn...and at the time I wasn't even talking to Jess that much. The girl was going to be played by a completely different girl I knew but she had to drop out. Funny coincidence. ^^;

Ryota: NO IT'S NOT!!!! >_<

*ahem* But man the changes. X_X; My early ideas of characters musta been really fucked up, cuz Akurei looked NOTHING like what Graham described him. He had slicked back blue hair...or maybe black..I used a lot of pens back in the day...and he wore a blue and gold jacket....he sorta dressed like Zealos...with a Wolverine complex.

*every character backs away to avoid the inevitable lightning bolt*

Dagrus is pretty much unchanged, though I did add the trademark nose scar to the DDT incarnation. But then..that brings me back to a memory..the fact that Dagrus within DDT is now in his..I think...fourth incarnation. He and Stragomon were originally partners back in the old old days when I was in middle school, at a Digimon game called MegaByte Village, or MBV for short. His ninja heritage wasn't around at the beginning, and was amended in later on..though his girlfriend was also a witch. And no, I don't mean that as an insult, I mean literally a witch. Hocus pocus, cauldrons and broomsticks type deal. And get this..Stragomon was a Vaccine Digimon of all things, ironic since his personality has been consistant from day one: perverted, lustful, and rather rude.

Back in those days Dagrus' Digivice used a key system, part of which were the Zodiac Keys which gave Strag an armored form based on the zodiac, though unlike the Digimental System from Digimon Adventure 02 his forms could naturally Digivolve over time. His Digivice also had a board system which held all of his forms. In that case Dagrus would flip boards to get to the desired evolution line. In those days Guy was his little brother by one year, and he never shook off the cutesy nerd look.

Guy: Jesus..-_-

He had a little sister who abused Strag...though I guess I did sorta carry that idea to every incarnation but DDT, wherein he has an older sister and baby brother that fullfill the same action...but the kicker was that he had an older brother named Shiuru who vanished at a young age and returned to be a villain with his own Stragomon. Fucked up stuff. Anywho, more notes as they appear.

*snickers* Ahh digging up the past is so fun huh?

Kirie: .....Oh that is so not funny... not one bit.


Ahe,.. ^^;  Man most of my characters have such a long and drowned out history in their making. I tend to take the same idea for one and change it around to fit elsewhere. But then way back in the day I had well over 80+ characters ALL that I used to RP with. Some were even made just to say "Yeah I got a character like that" ugh lame. Though I got rid of nearly all of them I still have the LONG list of character names and such. Well least I got a stock pile of names I can always go back to if I ever make another character lol.

The Kirie that is used here now is the... 3rd... 4th version? I don't know if the first version could count as anything as it never really went anywhere. She was to be used as a Street Fighter character called Kinto. But that lasted 1 RP and umm.. half a page in a fanfic? The only big thing was she had a panther for a partner that shed ride around on lol.

The next version was a overhaul though the personality and the looks remained. She was remade into a character called Maytel for a RockmanX fanfic that, unlike the other, really got fare (800+ pages). She was a stern girl and a Human hunter wth long dark blond hair, very simple outfit, and always had a beam saber with her..... and she was a time traveler. She lived in a future torn appart, one that had lost the big maveric war, but was much more advanced for that time. She used something constructed a long time back to travle back in time (though to a side universe where she didn't exist in) to help prevent the same thing happening there, and to move on with her life. In away she still is an existing character to me

The following version is about 95% the Kirie thats in DDT. This one was for the EXE World. Kirie had the same past, same history, her looks were changed to what they are now. Haze existed as a Navi and they met in a similar way. In that world Kirie was a hacker who got in over her head stumbleing onto his big crime organization that wanted to bring back the darkloids. She ended up being marked as part of the group when they followed them into a system that ended up being IPC's systems. While trying to 'help' a mis description of the one who hacked into the system marked Haze as the one instead of the real dude. So having to deal with the mess their in, avoide the net saviors, trying to clear herself. It's a lot of fun ^^;

And that led into the version for DDT. With the only differences being removing Kiries hacker abilities, changing Haze into a digimon, along with changing her looks to fit in and giving her a real past. Plus removing them being pulled into a crime organization., and instead being a member of the good guys ;P

Well at the moment, the only thing I have to add is that Shurensuki was originally a character for a Digimon Frontier fiction. ^_^; Yamainumon wasn't her partner, but the Digimon she had to protect the village from... the one where she got her Spirit. XD A village of cat Digimon, the Black Tailmon.

Suki evolved into Kagenekomon, she had a fun rivalry between herself and Kouji, eventually to wind up going out with Kouichi... Silence. >_>;

Her spirit was Shadow, not Darkness, but that's why Kouji thought she was evil. XD

When I first redid her for DDT, Cam liked Yamainumon, and he became a she and she became a goofy wolf. ^^

Rogue was also created as her brother; Shugotenshi; from the start, but his personality really shifted a lot from the time I drew that crappy picture of him to the time he was revealed. ^_^; He was such an asshole and was actually more intent on killing Suki than protecting her... Trying to prove he was better and wanted nothing more than to win. It wasn't until I started writing fics and RPing him a lot in IM that he because the misunderstood and shy boy you know now. Even with being part of the Dark Five, he wasn't evil so much anymore as I first made him. He has, however, always been insanely intelligent. >_>; Just that what he did's changed a hell of a lot since I met Cam and DDT started. XD

I'd also like to note that Cam created Tetsuo after I introduced him to Suki in IM after he'd given me a lot of Frontier episodes. XD I think that was the oldest couple... Being together before the game even started that still wound up together.

Ah~, Cam, I still remember being shot into the ocean.... Do you? >_>;

Oh! I remember now... When I made Izumi, I recall we once talked about her being related to Ryota. But no matter what angle I tried it from, it never worked. Izumi's original partner was also going to be a pink, perverted, rabbit. XD

Ex: T_T I still want to murder you.

Izumi: What? Cam gave you to me so I wouldn't have a bunny. >_> Not that Usagimon wouldn't have been fun... but she fits better elsewhere.

Enough of that, beyond here, we'd get into the Future Characters who've all changed dramatically and who have disappeared. >_>; I stop with that train of thought. And those who know what I'm talking about, you're probably one of like 3 people left who remember. XD;

If I recall anything else, I may post again, but I know many characters that were around from the start are vastly different now. >_>
