Here at DDT, I've tried to stay away from some conventions/gags/cliches in the Digimon World, only adhering to maybe a couple such as the use of the goggle boy with a dragon and the blue rival.

But I just realized a big one that I up and let happen without thinking about it. The limited lifespan of a goddamn Leomon.

For those that do not follow, in every season/universe of Digimon, a Leomon bites it. Normally in a battle situation where they fight valiantly against something more powerful than itself, whether it be another Digimon, god, or fate, but the fact stands. I didn't even realize this 'til I read a Leomon thread at DATS.US.

01/02 Universe: Leomon bit it when he fought Metal Etemon.

Tamers: Juri Katou's partner, bit it when he fought Beelzebumon.

Frontier: Complex...A Panjyamon, which is an ice version of Leomon got killed by Agnimon. Also, Kouji's brother Kouichi used Leomon based Spirit Forms, and he bit it when he fought Lucemon FallOut Mode. That means technically, they kileld TWO Leomon.

Savers: As tradition breaking as Savers was, it killed two Leomon. Granted, the first, a Saber Leomon that was anti-human was a prick, and needed to get offed, but SPOILER, Banchou Leomon died as well. In a totally noble fashion mind you, but  he still sacrificed himself so ShineGreymon could kill the final boss.

Digimon X-Evolution: Leomon died TWO MINUTES into the movie, killed by the X-Virus. His  death haunted DORUmon the entire film.

So the only Leomon to NOT die is in the V-Tamer Manga, Leo the Leomon/Panjyamon/Regulumon. He not only lives through attacks that would normally kill other Digimon, he lives long enough to advance naturally to the Ultimate stage.

ONE.

So I thought "hey, DDT is friendly to Leomon". I am in error.

We have killed, to my knowledge, two Leomon already.

1. BlazeLeomon, the partner of Ryota's dad. He didn't make it out of Barret.

2. The dark Banchou Leomon that worked for Vorse. Sure, he was a prick..but he was a Leomon. Killed by Omegamon.

There are currently five other lion Digimon operating in DDT currently. Volt Leomon, Buster Leomon, Kaiser Aelamon, Sphinxmon, and Domon the Leomon, the NPC Taniya's partner. I promise I will not kill them for the sake of story. X_X;;

...well maybe Kaiser Aelamon. That's technically not a LEOMON...but he is the same species..>_>;; Neither is Sphinxmon.

Technically, Ligermon is a Lion Digimon. ^^; Though a Liger is a Cross Breed of a Tiger and a Lion. >_>;;;;
