This is VITALLY IMPORTANT for your Tamer Application to be complete. I've tried to give examples where I could and gave explanations throughout...

This one is a bit longer and requires me to color the stupid thing to keep from letting everything run together on here. Anything wrong/missing WILL be edited by the GM (Cam) later on. For now, I offer what I know.

For one, all the information has to be up front. Sorry, but if these boards have your story than just copy and paste it.

In other words, if you tell us to look at another board for a History or other bio data. Forget it. Simply copy and paste the information into your bio. If it doesn't fit, however, be prepared to be told so. You should be able to tell whether or not your story and info will fit within the DDT Universe. Common sense should give you that hint. Now... the biggest problem with Background Stories, so far, has been use of the Series Chosen Children. THEY DO NOT EXIST WITHIN THE DDT UNIVERSE. ^_^ There. Keep that in mind and most other pieces of the bio should work too.

On with the Bio. ^^

|EDIT - 08/24/03|
Added more info to the Zeo Description. Will also aid slightly in updating a bio/profile as well as beaing this in mind when applying.
------------------------------------------------------
Name:
I swear I shouldn't have to explain this part... I also gave a little blurb about names under the link for the Jap<->Eng Dictionary in References...

Sex:
Ok, people, the joke's been done... Twice. Pick one, it's simpler. Male or Female.

Age:
MINIMUM AGE FOR A GUARD TAMER: 13

Guard Team:
.....I really shouldn't do this... what with them being listed on the FRONT PAGE and all, but I'm supposed to be helping. So here. Your choices available to you upon starting out are as follows:
1.) Wild Sword
2.) Dark Rider
3.) Knights of the Round
4.) Sky Prism
5.) Gaia Fist
6.) Deep Saver
7.) Blast Range

(...And DO NOT put a number! Choose a team and type it out. <Or copy and paste if you're lazy/in a hurry.> But NO NUMBERS... or the Tentomon I mentioned in the Digimon Bio is used by the Admins and GM again... either him or a Wormmon...)
Rank:
It will either be ..

1. Soldier (Standard)
2. Command Expert (Recon, Demolition, Defense, Offense, only after attaining a certain level)
3. Field Expert (Forest, Desert, Mountain, Jungle, etc. only after attaining a certain level)
3. Captain (Only available after reaching a certain class.)

Digivice Armour:

Just choose from one of the twelve (12) armour styles available.

1.) Hero
2.) Impulse
3.) HeavyArms
4.) Savior
5.) Bahamut
6.) Gaia
7.) Falcon
8.) Tsunami
9.) WildDrive
10.) Excalibur
11.) Shadow
12.) Kuwagata

Once again, do NOT put the number.

Digivice Color:
Be descriptive. Be Creative. This is YOUR Digivice.

HOWEVER!

All Digivices within the DNA Tamers' Universe are called "D-Savers"... Remember that... For now, anyway. It's simpler.

Personal Data

Physical Description:
The same thing has been said time and time again. And 3 out of 5 people just don't get it. Once more I plead these words... On EVERYTHING on your Application... BE DESCRIPTIVE! It not only looks better, but helps the GM and the other players visualize what you mean. I also need to enforce... BE CREATIVE!

If everyone had a Vague Profile and was walking around described as 'charming', 'average', and 'typical'.... This would be so frickin boring... Make your character unique. You get one shot to project a new image. Make it work and make it detailed, but make it your own... Once you're in, you're pretty much stuck... with that look... for the rest of the time... Just like your stuck with your Digimon that long too......
^_^

Personality:
Read the above blurb... and remember with a Personality, quirks make you unique. But go sparingly. Too many quirks makes you very very strange and probably not very likable if everything sets you off or it seems like EVERYTHING is wrong with you.... but on the other end of that scale... Too few or NO quirks make you a boring character, disliked by many many people/Digimon.... and trust me... EVERYONE has a chink in their armor... I don't care WHERE you think you're hiding it. NO ONE is perfect. Everyone has a flaw somewhere.

( Note: Recently, however, we've been getting too many people who decide to go the other way and make themselves angsty, empty Goths. Look, people, IT'S BEEN DONE. Not everyone is a complete friggin' social outcast. >_<;

If you want a character who has those elements, may I suggest you at least have a story that fits with that persona? If you want a look at a *good* Goth/outcast chara, check out [link=p199.ezboard.com/fdigimondnatamerfrm9.showMessage?topicID=13.topic]this bio.[/link]

C'mon, people. Let's have some happy, shiny folks! Or some smartasses! Or even some utter GEEKS! @_@;

Thank you.

--Graham
)

Clothing:
People's clothing always ranges from simple to outrageous. Try to match your clothing style and outfit you normally would be seen in... with the kind of character you have. If you have a dark, gothy, broody introvert. Look at Akurei. It means you should be kinda dark in clothing styles too. ^_^ However, Izumi wears brighter colors and she is also more outgoing, happier, and more high-spirited than Akurei. Their clothing styles fit their personalities.

....We don't need Gothy Clowns. They just get fried and shot at....

Background Story:
HERE is where you get to be the MOST creative. You see the story shove at the top of this Information Forum? READ IT! I know that sounds harsh, but there are still people that think they can just wing it through the DDT Application Process.

You CAN'T. You have to work to play. If you can't be creative in your Application/Bio, you probably can't be very descriptive, creative, or helpful while RPing. Your Bio gives us a chance to see what you can think like. How creative and unique you can be. The more effort you put into your entire Application/Bio, the more likely a chance you have of getting in. The Background Story is THE MOST screwed up part of a Bio to date. (Second is currently stuck between Zeos and Digimon...) Put time, care, and effort into creating this story... Because this also describes what your character's past is like...

And on THAT note, I'd like to say: THE AMNESIA BIT HAS BEEN DONE! It's had it's time in the spotlight. But there will be people who still insist... If you absolutely HAVE to give your character missing memories. Do it CREATIVELY... and there is NO POSSIBLE WAY your character can have NO background. If there is an "N/A" beside your Background Story... so many of us will want to hurt you. They could not have joined a Guard Team if they have no memories of anything they've done. It's best to just AVOID the amnesia bit completely and come up with a past...

If you think about it... giving your character amnesia can be considered just lazy. It's an excuse not to write about a few years of their lives. Your character is at LEAST 13 when they join the Ranks of the Guard Tamers. SOMETHING had to happen while they grew up for 13 years... Don't you think?

Also, make sure to upgrade your profile after any and all important story developments.

Any extra data goes here.
Try so very very hard not to leave this blank. And don't leave those words on the bio.. If you have nothing else to say about your Tamer, then erase those words. Seeing them remaining makes (at least) me twitch. If they remain, they should have SOMETHING about the character beneath them. Friends? Crush? Info that doesn't really fit under the Background? Notes about your character? Favorites? Dislikes? ANYTHING... it's all Extra Data... and it goes HERE.

Guardian Data

Weapon(s):
Popular Shmopular. Everyone has a sword... Think up new weapons that aren't used as much around here. But if you have to, or "REALLY REALLY REALLY!" want to have a sword. Describe it. As stated... it seems like EVERYONE has one. Make yours unique... be different. ALso, you can start out with 3 weapons max, then gain more as you play along.
Cam wrote:
For weapon, just choose some sort of weapon! A gun, a knife, a sword, ANYTHING that has the potential to kill someone.

D-Tank Model:
Biggest...Problem...to date... Second Only to Zeos...
This isn't so much screwed up as misunderstood.... But one question you do not ask of Jess is "Explain the D-Tanks, please? I'm lost." For Jess will reply that so is she. ^_^;

Addition by Cam:
I have listed all the D-Tanks and by the time this RPG opens all will be accompanied with images. That should be enough data.

Cam wrote:
D-Tank are vehicles. If you can't figure out something from the other profiles, just say you dont have one.

Attack Set
This covers any special attacks your Tamer knows going in. More can be learned later. If you HAVE no special attacks, just mark this part as N/A.

Zeo:
[i]The "Title" of your Zeo.
<See below.>

Zeo Description:
They go together, really. You have a Zeo, you have to Describe it...... And a Zeo would be... *digs up old IM where I asked that of Cam myself* A ha! ^_^ I found Cam's explanation to me... was small, cheap and short, but it's triggered a memory. ^^;

"One, the Zeo. A special move that gives the partner some hope against the enemy if seperated from the Digimon."
"Zeo? Sounds like a Power Ranger..."
"^_^;;;; I've been getting that."

More info from the GM:
Cam wrote:
Ok, a Zeo is a special ability, such as creating fire from fingertips or some sort of energy manipulation. Look at the other profiles.

It's a Special Move, as stated... usable only by humans. (Digimon have attacks, seriously, what the frick do they need with yet another ability on top of that? o_O) So far I've noticed that there are two distinguishable Types...

1.) Elemental/Attack-Based
2.) Ability-Based

Elemental/Attack Zeos are based upon the Elements... and usually... the ability to attack via that element.

Example 1-A:
Ryota's Fire Zeo is; of course; Flame. Fire-based. This can be used to attack not only up close, but sometimes at a distance.

Example 1-B:
Akurei's Electric Zeo. This is electric/lightning-based. Obviously can be used as a distance shot... but if used up close does elemental damage as well.

Ability-Based Zeos are based upon "abilities". Being able to do something that you can't normally... or having the ability to boost something already can do.

Example 2-A:
Suki's Healing Zeo. This is not an element and is not an attack-like Zeo. In fact. It's pretty well a silent Zeo. Suki has the ability to heal injuries and wounds on Humans and Digimon. This, once more, is an Ability rather than an Element or Attack.

Example 2-B:
Rune's Speed Zeo. Speed isn't an attack nor an element. It's something to boost what he has already. Using this Zeo, Rune is able to move beyond the speed of a normal human being, possibly even certain Digimon, and therefore has a chance of getting a hit on a fast-moving enemy...

Course this also means he can turn tail and book it away from a fight faster than the others can.
^_~

In short, to help with picking your Zeo, figure out which kind you're prefer. Then you can figure out what your Zeo could be... based upon that decision.

ADVENTS:
First Advent (or "Level") Can be described simply. If you have an aura or energy surrounding you when you use your Zeo... name the color. If you have something appear, describe it.

Physical Change to Advents after First.
Meaning: Changes in hair color, skin tone, anything that makes it apparent you're at the next level, even a change energy color.

As always, two examples:

Example A-1: (Simple)
Suki's Healing Zeo. At First Advent, she glows purple. At Second Advent, she glows blue, and has a blue cross on her forehead.

Example A-2: (More Detailed)
Ryota's Fire Zeo. At First Advent, not much is apparent save the fire that erupts from points on his body when activated. At Second Advent, the eruption points hare more in number, and he gains wings on his back made of flame. "Besides the wings, his hair will glow a very slight red-orange, and become hot to the touch."

EXTRA NOTE ON ZEOS:
Attainable Advents for everyone are 1-3.
4th, or "Final Advent" is only attainable via an Ancient Weapon... Thusly... not many people will have the ability to reach Final Advent.

(So it is my understanding, here anyway. -Jess)

Theme Song(s):
These? These are just songs that fit you and your partner. Look at all the other Bios. They aren't made up songs, they're songs that are out... songs we like... songs that fit our characters. (Sometimes VERY creepily so. x_@) You don't have to have a song for everything. If you don't even want a song, that's fine.

This is one section of an app that can be marked "N/A".

For the Digimon Part? That's a seperate Help File... "Digimon Bio" Go there for the last part of the Tamer Bio you'll NEED to have completed. ^_^

<More might come later... or this might be updated/edited by the GM. For now... I'm finished with this file.>
