No longer just a fashion piece, the Neo Matrix you get is based on the best trait of your Digimon.

Green - Trust

Effect: Jogress Evolutions and Multi-Techs are boosted in power. It is also easier to achieve Synchro status.

Red - Virtue

Effect: Damage from Holy-type attacks is halved and the Digimon's own Holy-type attacks are given a boost.

Yellow - Might

Effect: The Digimon is resistant to Devolving Effects and has a boosted defense in near death situations.

Aqua Green - Life

Effect: The Digimon is resistant to Instant Kills and is given a power boost in near death situations.

Light Blue - Courage

Effect: The Digimon is resistant to status defects, and Shadow-type attack damage is halved. Own Shadow-type attacks are boosted.

(Dark) Blue - Spirit

Effect: The Digimon can EXE faster and is not drained completely when the effect wears off.


A Neo Matrix is permanant. Its color is not. For example:
-Kappamon's Neo Matrix is Blue, but when she evolves to Marimon, it becomes Red.

Each Digimon has their own Virtue, but each form has different Strengths. The Virtue that is strongest within that form will determine the color of the Neo Matrix for that form.

Also note that the Neo Matrix does not have to be an upside-down triangle. Whatever shape suits your Digimon the best.

But you must have one.

Protect your Neo Matrix at all costs. It is a direct line to the DigiCore and if taken your Digimon's reactions are heavilly slowed, not to mention prolonged exposure without one guarantees the Digimon dying within days.
