Each Guard Team specializes in a certain aspect of combat. Once you're cleared you can see their exact qualifications. For now, here's a general run down.

Wild Sword
Leader: Higarashi Gendo "The Wild"
Partner: Gaioumon
Founding Digimon: Kaiser Greymon
Team Specs: Wild Sword excels in melee combat and employs mainly beast type Digimon. They are open registration, though most Digimon are of the Data and Vaccine type.

Example: Agumon, Gaomon, Gabumon

Dark Rider
Leader: Dantes Vincent "The Forboding"
Partner: Voidmon
Founding Digimon: Devidramon
Team Specs: Dark Rider excels in stealth combat and traps, employing ninja and demon type Digimon using the powers of darkness to fight. They are mainly composed of Virus Digimon.

Example: Impmon, PicoDevimon, Vampmon

Knights of the Round
Leader: Celeste Alexandra "The Justice"
Partner: Beowolfmon
Founding Digimon: Dukemon
Team Specs: Knights specialize in weapon combat, and employ warrior-type Digimon. They are made up of many Vaccines, but also employ many Viruses, displaying a range of light and dark powers.

Example: PawnChessmon, Knightmon, Wolfmon

Sky Prism
Leader: Asayle Forge "The Wisdom"
Partner: Angewomon
Founding Digimon: D'Arcmon
Team Specs: Sky Prism specializes in aerial combat, relying on speed to attack enemies. They are made up of all flyers, normally as Vaccine-types but is open as long as the Digimon can fly naturally and regardless of form.

Example: Piyomon, Hawkmon, Lucemon

Gaia Fist
Leader: Gustave Giovanni "The Strength"
Partner: Indaramon
Founding Digimon: Volcamon
Team Specs: Gaia Fist specializes in ground combat, utilizing high power and defense, they  are the tanks of the Mirai Guard Team. Flyers can exist, but not at the child level. Meditation is practiced heavilly here, as well as weight training. Open registration when it comes to types, though they employ mostly earth based beings and insects.

Example: Armadillomon, Renamon, Palmon

Deep Saver
Leader: Azure Figaro "The Vitality"
Partner: Ranamon
Founding Digimon: Depthmon
Team Specs: Deep Saver specializes in aquatic combat, and employs status attacks. Though they should be limited by water, they are more than capable of fighting on the ground, but excel greatly in the art of field shifting, manipulating the battlefield thanks to Digital Spaces. Aquatic Digimon are mainly employed here, of any type.

Example: Submarimon, Gomamon, Ranamon

Blast Range
Leader: Methos Gray "The Onslaught"
Partner: Ratchetmon
Founding Digimon: Raidenmon
Team Specs: Blast Range is all about range fighting, going in with guns blazing. Majority of the Digimon here are machine-types, and wield a vast amount of destructive power. The artillery of Mirai.

Example: Terriermon, Hagurumon

God Sword
Leader: Guard Master Stone Spiegel "The World"
Co-Leader: Hikaru Toujin
Partner: Holymon
Founding Digimon: Susanoomon
Team Specs: The best of the best, no one can actually start from God Sword unless special circumstances are involved. Each member is hand picked by the Guard Master himself. Any and all Digimon can enter, but they must possess incredible power before trying to apply.
