I am all sorts of down with these designs o 3o

A brand new color combination, and only the second time (first being Changeman) with both Pink and White. I still personally await another go with Jetman or Magiranger's colors or a new combination including a female blue and pink/white, but this is still really nice. Especially, fuck... this is the first time since Magiranger there's been a male yellow. So almost 10 years on that.

Shurikenjin. Looking like the core of the robot is a smaller humanoid one belonging to red.

Supposedly following after ToQger, they're again skipping on the typical naming conventions (though to be fair, NinjaRed etc was already done by Kakuranger). Kicking it old school with Akaninja, Aoninja, etc. Can't think of anything other than Goranger that used Japanese colors in the names (apart from Akared).

Collectible gimmick is going to be shurikens that probably function similar to Shinkenger's discs. Word is each of the main shuriken can be used to form Shurikenjin's head.

Aaaallllllsoooo notice how the design of White and Pink's legs are effectively thigh highs >_>

THIGH HIGHS. BUILT INTO THE COSTUME. Rule 34 will be on this super sentai like zippers on a Nomura protagonist. We just need the actresses to be of quality.

What a thematic group, huh? >_>

Yellow's truck (chest and right arm) and pink's train (all of the legs - white's dog is basically a shin-insert) seem to be make up most of the body.

The main gimmick seems to be the "throne" on the chest, where red's mecha is normally located. Red's machine can swap places with Blue's dragon into what looks like a chimera mode or something >_>;

Aaaand then the first extra mecha;



Paonmaru, an elephant and UFOmaru (take a guess <_<). Each transforms into its own little robot, and then when they combine with Shurikenjin, they take Red's place on the throne.
