No real context or anything beyond tutoring inbound XD Just a fun pic u 3u I did initially want to do this one a bit more polished/less sketchy, but Maid Month's almost over lol. This one took more trial and error and don't think I completely nailed it, but came out well enough.Mariko-wise I think I did the right side of her hair a bit short and the left side a bit long ^^; And I'm feeling like I may have misinterpreted her ear fins a bit wrong at this angle u 3u After going back to Graham's art of her, I think the red orbs are supposed to be a bit smaller and the silver is supposed to arch over a bit more on top? I'll prolly get to doodling her again sometime o 3o;

Also you may have given a little bit of oomph to Mariko’s chest, but it’s fine. o 3o The fins are a little off but not so much I noticed initially! Hair is also asymmetrical. But overall, very nice! Maids definitely need, uh, leashes. >_> Y’know, for maid stuff.

Maidmon & Me (Part III): Roland and ChiMaidmon

Some background. Gotta start somewhere, right?

I joined the Crowns after Divine Crown Dragon, the first one, recruited me after I fought off a Shurimon. I managed to avoid getting offed or indoctrinated but I didn't get to see real action until the new Divine Crown Dragon gave took me off the reserves.

I'm a stunt guy in real life. All the jumps, the fights, the crashes, that's me. My partner isn't much better, he's a Veedramon with more battle scars than sense. We're front line, we run in, break stuff, then run back and get more things to break stuff with. That was our bit.

Until we came across this ChiMaidmon.

We found her in the manor owned by some noble that decided it was cool to sell out everyone in his city for brownie points with Troiamon, and she was the last one left. She didn't talk, wouldn't even look at anyone, and stayed in the sick bay for weeks afterward just staring at the wall. We finally got her to talk after I watched some wrestling videos near her and she took interest. After that she started to come out of her shell. She spoke, she ate, she laughed, and she *loved* to wrestle. She wasn't comfortable with everyone so I was assigned to rehabilitate her and eventually let her go off on her own.

Thing was, she never left. She moved into my apartment and said she could clean and cook and...yeah she wasn't *great* at it. We worked with her on it and she eventually got the hang of it. She never gave up, and I gotta admit that helped me stick with my work. I'd go out, do missions, hit the set, come home, we'd watch wrestling, and then go to sleep. I had her call me by my first name or a nick name just because "master" wasn't really my thing. She was my guest, not my servant.

Then one day the wrestling...went too far. We realized what we were doing and just...didn't stop. It was a one time mistake.

That turned into six times in three days.

She asked me if she had to go back and...damn if I could let her go.

She still waits for me, still keeps things in one piece despite what the Digimon Report says. She still gets the bed ready. We still watch wrestling. And then we wrestle in the dark. She hasn't Digivolved yet but I can feel the power within her. Maybe it's a Winning Percentage thing.

Then one day the recovery team found the staff roster from that raid mission. There was no ChiMaidmon on the list of staff. In fact there were no Maidmon proper on it.

There *was* a WiseMaidmon, though.

Tonight I let her call me "master". I'll get used to it.

She won't be hurt anymore.

And that's it! One thing this virus did was give me more time to draw and try new poses and ideas, and I'm glad that even with the lull between pics I managed to finish it. Thanks for humoring me.

Crown Oz functions differently than Mirai and Europe; they effectively testbed technology. Using a limited amount of Lord-Class and above Visors, their technology is more individualized and less networked/homogenized as the Crowns we all know and love are. Oz Crowns are sorta supposed to be both more and less advanced than Mirai; some aspects of their hardware and software may be a generation behind while other aspects will feature advancements that are a generation ahead.

Crown Oz visors are individualized systems, denoted by Greek alphabet characters, not tied to a central network. Devi uses the Sigma System under the codename Tempest, making her designation Crown Tempest-Sigma.

I wanted Oz Crowns to have a different look from Mirai Crowns to denote the differences. I chose to lean into my own and, more importantly, canonically, Fleur's love of Sentai for the designs more than the more purposed and militarized Siegfried suits do, and after some trial and error arrived at this design. It accomplishes my main goal - more color - without overdoing it, while bringing in plenty of design language from the Siegfrieds.

More art from me. From a technical sense, I'm really happy because this is the first time I've gone and used the same sketch framework for two different pics. Lines are kinda sloppy; I'm trying to find a good balance on how much I clean those up etc, but for the moment I'm satisfied enough just with getting some art out XD Especially since I'm trying to focus on chars without art or ones with an updated look etc.

ANYWAY (again > 3>)

Making her first appearance during World Tour is Devi Mishra, a member of Crown Oz. She is the sister of Anil Mishra, a background (non-contracted) Crown operative in Mirai; their parents divorced while they were young, and while Anil was raised in India and then Mirai, Devi was raised in Australia. Devi herself is an adventurer and thrill-seeker with a weather-commanding DE that makes her an excellent scout.

...I have NO idea how this came out the stylus but I'm not questioning it. Though damn if this is not the most confident Zephy I've ever drawn. I mean this ain't even cute. X__X It's just *hot*.

That said, if this were a more realistic portrayal, her face would be deep red AF and the grin more crooked as she attempted to look confident. At least, that's the case as she is developed so far in-game. I'm sure the boys have this mental image as something to look forward to as she grows more into her own.

Also called the "Ride Crests" these were derived from the "Crests of the Apocalypse"many World Cycles ago. Each is devoted to a form of transportation and empower Digimentals installed into them, meaning Ride Digimentals are Perfect and up only.

Part of my crest refinement project, Propulsion was the only one not changed too much. Velocity had the biggest change and I thank ze wife for her help with it.

"Lately I've seen my star rise within PISCES Division but the job hasn't just gotten harder, it's gotten brutal. Vice-Captain Vanhelm puts a lot more on me. I know it's so I can succeed, but sometimes I wonder if I'm cut out for military life.

Oddly enough, it was suggested by Captain Agito to find what keeps me level rather than grinning and baring it. I tried video games, I tried service projects, I tried getting into art but the job still kinda nags at me.

That's when I met her.

She started working within GEMINI Division only recently, apparently Captain Vermillion brought her and a team of Maidmon to help around Section-VIII HESTIA and morale has definitely gone up. Vice-Commander Naal’Solisiliu suggested I go speak with her during my last check up to discuss my stress problems and..well...!

Look,I swear I didn't mean to fall on her! I tripped! ...Into her chest. Those buttons hurt.

But I've been seeing her more lately as community service and we seem to be hitting it off. She's a great listener and motivator, though she can be just as strict as Vice-Captain Vanhelm.

Aaaaand here is my first piece of art uploaded to the Sketcher in over three years > 3>;;;

Like seriously, this is the first time I connected my tablet and have done anything since then >_> Well, this isn't my first attempt, but my first result worth finishing as-is without scrapping or major rework lol. To that end, I've left it pretty rough, since I'd like to prioritize getting out some char/Digimon concepts and a maid month pic or two rather than taking whatever time I'm gonna spend on some art cleaning up, redoing lines, and shading, all things that I'd need to learn a lot better anyway (also complicating that matter is still not being back in the hang of drawing, y'know, straight/consistent lines >.>;;;; XD).

ANYWAY. Here is some simple cheesecake of Blair Corentine, Vice-Captain of AQAURIUS Division o 3o The practical purpose of this pic was to show off Blair's new haircut ('member haircuts? > 3>). I'm refreshing several chars' looks with the new season to begin with, and on a whim after sharing a pic or two with Graham, thought Blair would probably look good with short hair. For that matter, part of the reason I feel like I couldn't quite nail art of Blair in the past was getting a good look out of her hairstyle. I think this look suits her really well.

Beyond that, I wanted to kinda give Blair her own identifier as I had her start rolling with Helena's colors - which of course do work really well as far as her ATHENA-II goes; AQUARIUS colors with Blair's personalized touches with the camo pattern etc. But as far as casual stuff goes, Blair didn't have much of an identity - which is where the purple highlights in her hair now come in.

Now, you may say "Then Justin, why is she in AQUARIUS colored lingerie then?" and for that, my friend, there is a very good answer. To taunt a certain Captain who may have a bit of envy re: a pair of certain body parts that Blair possesses >_>

The semi-practical reason for the cheesecake (I was actually gonna draw less of her body originally, at that, but this was actually coming out well enough for me to add more o 3o) was also better establishing Blair's bodytype since her sizing and proportions were also pretty mediocre in my other works of her u 3u That said, proportions still aren't perfect, head may be a bit small, chest might be a tad large?, but nevertheless, still feel like I've captured Blair a lot better here; an above average height that doesn't feel lanky, while not ripped to the degree of Lucrezia still a fairly muscular bodytype (should have maybe made her arms a little bigger), and, yes, a pair of bra busters >_>

Yeah, arms could stand to be more defined, particularly given the sort of arsenal you have Blair carry around, and the head could be a few touches bigger. Beyond that I dig the ab definition there and the subtle lighting works. Also dig the lingerie design period. Hair looks great, we don't have too many characters with two toned hair of any sort natural or artificial so good to see it.

Check that I *really* dig the lingerie design. Eye-catching as fuck.

Yep o 3o As Lagomon, their differences are mostly cosmetic and really just down to their individual style, while when evolved to Cosmomon there are more pronounced differences. I have kept the bit where they were a former combat unit, as they are differentiated to work best together; combining their abilities being one of my most common uses of DigiXros.

On the left is Iris's partner, Lex, the effective balanced command-type whom everyone is probably acquainted with >_>

Next in the orange/blue is Ashley's partner, Babs. She is the specialized striker who tends to focus on speed, her evolution featuring lighter armor that trades defense for increased mobility.

In purple is Jane, contracted to Kikyo/K'. She's the group heavy, getting in close and tanking when needed - as a Cosmomon she has heavier armor and is kitted more for closer combat than the others.

And lastly in pink is Cassie, partner to Hana. She's the tactician and, when evolved, has an enhanced sensor array, detection, and homing abilities.

The further visual differentiations here at Child-level spawned from Cam; when I originally brought the Fairlions back into the fold I tried to stay pretty conservative and not indulge in my tendencies to introduce too many variables, but since I have kept them around for several years now as side characters and am continuing to flesh each of them out a bit more, it was probably about time.

Did this awhile ago but with Ringmon out I figured why not?

Lagomon has been a challenge for me. When first introduced under the old RPer she had the colors you see here but was in a literal black suit with a "Men-In-Black" basis. A green rabbit in a suit.

When Justin took over the suit was thankfully revised with our little club's love of Kamen Rider, in particular Kamen Rider Fourze. The design there was better than the old but there was still something missing, not helped by the fact my dumb self saved the image too small.

What we have here is a refinement of those past designs, framing the Lagomon as the product of an old galactic Digimon war, literally birthed from the frame of a massive Digimon to address the great loss of life that the war brought about.

It landed on a moon. It needed to propagate life. Rabbits. Moon.

Shut up, it was a way to explain their horniness. D8

Finishing touches really makes this pop, looks great, the new touches to the redesign work really well.Some of the changes also transition in the Megaman X vibes present in Cosmomon more smoothly.

May as well post the flats for the other Fairlions' Lagomon while you're at it >_> It's good reference for everyone, especially with them popping up in some current threads u 3u

I really like this, though, it's a good refinement of the Fourze elements and gives the Lagomon their own space aesthetic. o 3o Also I mean, horny mythological appropriateness is still appropriate. XD

You're not far off the mark. I generally use them as a basis for "main" Digimon as Guilmon is a touch too big for what I'm going for and Shoutmon, though simplistic, doesn't fit with Ringmon's aesthetic given the mechanical components to his design, same with Gatchmon.

Smutterday is here again! And in honor of Maid Month (and since tomorrow is Maid Day) I'll be making three pictures that go together, each being a Tamer who has been contracted with a Digimon.

Maidmon & Me (Part I): Tolle and Maidmon

"Growing up I got caught up in otaku culture, and my family...wasn't really thrilled about it. I come from a family of hefty folks, all physical labor types, and I ended up just like them in the build department. I didn't want to do construction or sports, I actually wanted to make manga. I studied when no one else was looking and submitted pitch after pitch to "Show! Heart!", a magazine that's a big jumping off point for manga artists. They turned me down, but I kept trying.

And trying.

And...trying. Nothing I had was ever any good. I gave up...fell in with some crowd called The Bad Dudes, and became nothing more than a punk...

...That is until I met her. I was looking over another manuscript I sent in, one that already failed, and after seeing the latest work by Nazonazo-sensei I felt inspired to create again.

So I made a wish.

And she answered it.

With her I cleaned up my act. I started putting more time into study and practice. Every step of the way she kept me on schedule, got me my supplies, snuck my otaku merch out when anyone might try to find it, she even got me on a better diet, though I suppose you can't always beat genetics.

Then I made it. I got in! "Yakiniku to Heart", a love story, got picked up and it's already climbing the charts! My editor says studios are already looking to option it!

..Too bad I can't tell my buds, right?

This Maidmon has been like a guardian angel, man...she's sweet, she's polite...and she let's me...

So...like...are there any laws against marrying a Digimon?"

Called "the Tomb Prospectors" and the "Vault Princesses", it's said that as long as there is a worthwhile treasure at the end of their journey, they won't turn down even the most dangerous work, and with their Devil Arms Akathama, they could slay an entire army from a hidden vantage point. Rumor has it they're aligned with the Sin of Greed, but they seem much more level-headed than other Greed Digimon. However, they covet respect most of all, so don't bring up their height.

So yeah. I designed this Demon-type lady of about four feet high on the fly for a thread, and kind of really enjoyed RPing her, and now she's in a thread with Frey and another thread with Shugo and she's just overall a delight.

This particular Kimarismon is Highlady Estrella Ciocie von Maximus Ciolette, a dilettante of Shadowveil who's also a master jeweler, amateur archaeologist and veteran antique saleswoman, and a casino owner, with the Burning Floor in her portfolio. She's got a bit of a short temper, and she speaks in an odd dialect called "Deepshade", common mostly amongst Subterranean Digimon (such as Khazadmon and Alftmon) and very deep-dwelling Demon-types.

And her missing Digimon aspect might be her Akathama, which is a giant fuck demonic sniper rifle. I wanted to draw her in repose, though, and I also didn’t want to try and draw a giant rifle right then. >_>;;;

Poor Mike. He'll never be rid of his demon(s), and quite literally too! I do like the charcoal medium, gives a sort of hostile vibe coming from the non-human half.

And for those that have no idea why Mike has a non-human half looking like it comes from some mind-fuckery sci-fi. Mike, in his early to mid 20s, went to Sibera, Russia, on a mission to clear his name. Why did he have to clear his name? Because he had stepped on the wrong shoes and would have faced some horrible things in prison.

But that did not happen. What instead happened was that a simple capture or kill international wanted criminal turned into an Area 51+Resident Evil Mindfuck Scenario. There is a thread called "Facing My Own Demons" which goes into detail.

But to shorten it up. Out of a seven man mission, Mike was the only one to live. He fought mutants that were failed dhumans or rather humans that were injected with modified DDNA that turned them into monsters; creatures that are neither human nor complete dhumans.

He rescued a scientist that was the assistant of a very much dead Geneticist who went by the name Doctor Vladimir Dracul Dragomirov VII or Doctor Dragomirov. The "Good" Doctor, during his show down with Mike, injected the man with an experimental serum that contained DDNA of an unknown digimon or maybe several strains of unknown Digimon. This caused irreversible damage to Mike as the serum began trying to forcefully turn the man into a complete DHuman. That was prevented when he was injected with an anti-serum. But the anti-serum did not get rid of all of the DDNA, oh no, to this day Mike still has traces of it that make up .5% or 1% of his entire genetic makeup.

8D And the nonhuman half of the pic is what would be Mike if he was turned into a complete Dhuman!

And surely nothing bad will happen when he mikes against Pendragon's forces or servants of Ragnarok. Everything is fine~ He'll be fine~
