Updates in Cyan. -NEW! New Board Rules- ------------------------------------- Just a friendly note before we begin: Please don't let the length and some of this language scare you too much. We've learned we have to be kinda harsh and descriptive to get our points across to some people. I know we seem kinda short and cold. We apologize. We don't really bite. =3 Nibble, maybe. ^_~ Rules, Data, and Information About This Board Language -You obviously note that we allow cursing. Just don't get outrageously out of hand or we edit your posts and leave a reminder to tone it down just a smidgen. I have not restricted words on this site, please don't get completely out of control to the point I have to turn that feature on. I'd rather not. The ONLY place you can get insane in is Ruka's Server. Because she just causes that kind of stuff to go on. @__@; -This board is in English. Other languages may be spoken, but note that the creators of this RPG are native English Speakers and may not understand you. Some of us are trying to learn Japanese. You may notice this around the board. If you have any questions on what was said, just ask. Signatures -They are limited to 400 characters to allow for BB Code such as bold, italic, and the like. Also for URLs in the sigs. However, HTML is disabled in sigs for the moment. If this shit gets overtly abused, it goes back to 255 which is default. -SMALL. PICTURES. ONLY. You may have noticed that our own GM has placed an image in his signature. Try to follow those dimensions and don't go too long or too wide. So please take heed. Any images that are just too damn big and stretch the screen width-wise as well as taking up too much space lengthwise, we will remove your signature. In other words, don't put an entire manga page or a wallpaper in your bleepin' sig. o.< Save my Bandwidth, wouldja? ^.^; -Don't get offensive. If you're unsure, ask Admin or a Mod to check it over. Don't be afraid. Avatars -Limited to 120x120 pixels in dimensions. (Any bigger, and we start stretching the screen. x_O; -Limited to 15575 bytes in file size. (Don't be nuts. This is about 15kb. I upped it since even I have a hard time with the 10kb limit...) -Remote Linking is allowed. Do not hotlink to other people's sites unless you have permission to do so. If our board starts getting reports or complaints of players hotlinking without their permission, this option will once more be disallowed. You may still upload an image to the site from your computer. Bearing in mind the limitations above. If it's over the filesize, your best bet is to use something like PhotoBucket or DomainDLX to host your image and link to it.
-Should not be insanely offensive. We're pervs here, but not everyone is. Remember that. -Does not have to be of your character, but it's preferred if you try. Posting -Quick Reply is available. I think it's only there if you're logged in, so try to log in before posting. Helps a lot. XP Now... the following rule is still in place and we will still delete double posts. Don't abuse the Quick Reply Feature, PLEASE. -Try your damndest not to Double Post. If you post the same thing twice, the second one will be deleted if we notice it. We know that's the board, not you. (Occasionally.) But if you have two completely different posts one after the other anywhere but the Spam Channel, this is called Double Posting and it is not necessary. First, that's what the 'edit' button is for. You can edit your own posts. Do so if you forgot something. Second, this is not a chatroom, there is not always someone here to reply to you within two seconds. Just keep looking. -One word posts are moronic. Make a sentence, damnit. -GRAMMAR. It exists for a reason. So do spell-checkers. We know not everyone's a perfect speller nor does everyone have excellent grammar. Also, we are not Grammar Nazis... but seriously... put some effort into it. -No leet, keep away from the BAD CAPS, and aLt CaPs. T_T <More Can/Will Be Added As Necessity Requires.> |

Cam wrote: The rules are simple.
One: You cannot defeat the council members. Two: Done worry to much about rule one, they don't appear in battle much. *NEW* It should be stated on acceptance here. So we will. The GM has final word, but the Admins and Colin have just as much say on bios and acceptance of them as he does. However, to be safe, at least two Admins should accept the bio before it is moved. Normally, you will be asked for a Custom Title. This will go under your Screenname where it says "Civilian" for you. (Only Admins and GM can make this change.) Yes, you can put it into a separate post, as usually your bio is replied to and left in Applications long enough that you should see replies to it. If you do not have a chance to do this, don't feel stupid about posting it in GD or IMing an online Admin. (Or the GM.) Be nice and you shouldn't poke anyone's bad buttons. *^_^* It's not a necessity to have a Custom Title, but it's an option and it's yours. Account-wise, there have been problems in the past with this... If you use more than one account, we don't have a problem with that. But we'd like for you to tell us this. We know you can forget to log out and we know that you might use different computers, or even names on different boards. But don't try and play off that it's two different people when it isn't. Just tell us so we know... otherwise, if your characters are used in that post, it will be deleted on account that it's "someone unauthorized" using your characters. The turn/post will not be counted. It has been brought to the attention of the Admins that people are majorly editing their profiles after being admitted. This will not be tolerated. Allowable editing of a Profile is Additions, not overhauls. Additions include: adding new forms for the Digimon, (as in new Evolutions that are gained,) or add on recent developments to a character's history due to the RPG. But what we have seen is that people have been removing information, changing/'Resetting' their Bios... If you were told to change something because it did not fit or work before you were accepted changing your Profile/Bio BACK to what was denied beforehand should NOT be done. Understood? Those who violate this Rule will be moved until their Bio is fixed to be done properly. If you continue to do so even after having it repaired once or twice, you will be warned. If after all this, you still refuse to accept the changes that needed to be made, you will be removed from the game. If this continues, the only ones allowed to edit the Bios after being admitted will be the Admins... You will have to go through them to update your bio with new evolutions and recent history. I don't want to do this, so PLEASE listen and do NOT "Reset" your Profile once it is accepted. ------------------------------------------------ Evolution is done, as I said, by posting at least five times in an evolution thread. If you want quicker evolution, you can make a thread at Excalibur Mountains and Omegamon will supply you with two evo slots, meaning you can have two different Champion level Digimon. Since we're advancing in the story, you can trade in Champion slots for Perfect/Ultimate slots. In terms of calling attacks, just watch what you do. Very few people can kill someone in one or two attacks unless it's a dronae. In the terms of your Zeo, you cannot use it too much or you will suffer Zeo Burn, which can knock you out for a good bit of time. You can curse as much as you want. I can't tell people to not do that because I cannot go one day without cursing. If you have any ideas that are rather mature (we're talking NC-17), please take that to the Morning Coffee forum. Please have proof you are 16 years or older. Remember, there is no Digital and Real World, they are fused into one. The usual enemy are the Dronae, black masses that take on different forms to fight. They range from soldiers, which are the easiest, to the massive Sentinel types, which take a few people. If a human or Digimon tries to attack you, chances are they are infected with the CAIN Virus. Defeating them earns you DNA so you can evolve your Digimon. DNA scanning is important. You cannot evolve your Digimon without having a DNA requirement and meeting it. You can have as much DNA or as little to make evolutions. The minimum for Adult/Champion is 2, 3 for Perfect/Ultimate, and 4 for Ultimate/MEGA. Just know that the less DNA the less resistance to attacks you have. Any extra DNA you apply to your Digimon is called Enhancing. (Ex: Greymon Gun Enhance) These are not levels, they are just power ups. All Digimon have an ability called EXE. It's like the Limit Breaks/Trance from the Final Fantasy series. It is usually marked by a Digimon turning a different shade of color and having enhanced abilities. Once EXE is over, the Digimon will be tired. If you want to fight another RPer, offer them a challenge in General Discussion. If they accept, take the battle to Dragonhead Stadium. Any other questions... just ask... in General Discussion. |
