Ok, since simply starting from a thread, I've decided to start from a new story arc and continue forward. I'll try to have some stills for it.

Part 1: Dark Stage

WARNING! WARNING! All Available Guardians report to downtown Cyan - Business District! We have a Level 5 situation! All Alpha Class Guardians please vacate the area!

The sky is dark, and rain pours down on the Tamers and Digimon as they face down the Dark Five. Shugotenshi AKA Rogue has a weakened Kurotatsumon leaning against him, the dragon wimpering slightly as he nurses a bad leg wound. On the opposing side, Tetsuo is one one knee, a damaged Circuitmon leaning against him. Wolfgang is on one knee, blood dripping down the side of his face as Nyxmon pants, barely able to hold his sword. Seth is standing, shivering from the cold and his clothing slightly torn as AlboPythmon, outcold, lie across his shoulder.

This brings us to the last two members, Daisuke and Trash, both unfortunately standing on their separate Milleniumon, Nightmare Milleniumon and Malaugre Milleniumon, overlooking the Tamers.

The heroes looked tired, just fighting off the army of Umbromon and Dronae to even get to the Dark Five, now facing their strongest members seemed like a foolish idea.

Ryota brougt himself to his feet, his legs shaking slightly from exhaustion, but refusing to fully give way. Vanguardmon stood with holding both his swords in battle ready position. Ryota could barely see his Digivice as blood blurred his own vision. Derryn held three throwing daggers, his last, in his right hand, while Dariumon stood beside Vanguardmon, his hands shaking as they bled. Akurei was on his knees, nursing an injured Marimon, while the Digimon's partner, Carrie, leaned on Leon, her ankle sprained. Suki stood beside Inuken, who was holding Suki's sword seeing as her partner was nursing a wounded arm, her exhaustion so great she couldn't even activate her Zeo without risking a burn. Izumi was on her knees, nursing a wound and her wounded partner, the former from a slash wound delivered by Daisuke, the latter from taking a direct attack from Nightmare Milleniumon, being dropped from Perfect to Child in meer seconds. This of course made Ryota enfuriated, but he couldn't allow his Beast DNA to take control now. Einlanzer glowed red in anger in fact, as Huntress lay on the ground, power drained from taking on several attacks. Valor was leaning against Mjolnir, weak lightning sparking from the Ancient Weapon as it's wielder tried to keep conscious.

Daisuke: So, it looks like this is the final battle.....

Daisuke grinned with satisfaction.

Daisuke: And unfortunately for you, we have the trump cards.

Ryota: Don't count us out yet, Nima!! We still have enough power to take you on just like we did your goons!!

Daisuke: And for that I commend you, but be realistic, Kenkaku. You and your little team are out of it.

Maha was sitting against a building, nursing her own wounds as Sion stood up holding their Digivices, Forsiveyemon floating to stand beside Vanguardmon and Dariumon.

Sion: We..still have the will.....to fight...

Enbeli held ont her Tonfa guns, trying to take aim, but the constant battling made her usualbad aim even worse as she fought the need to just fall down. Radrmon was out cold.

Enbeli: And..and that's all we need.

Yukito raised Zed's sword, ready to strike as Fujinmon was on her knees, panting and still trying to remain conscious as the others.

Yukito: We'll end this fight even if it means our own demise to stop you...

Trash smirked, the Digitama of Rockmon under one arm.

Trash: Not likely, rich boy. Oh, and thanks for the ol' pebble's Digitama. Some tweaking and he'll make a fine addition to our forces.

Yukito growled, his eyes going dark.

Yukito: You give that back!!!

Daisuke: Enough of this. Milleniumon! Destroy them!

Nightmare Milleniumon hesitated some, but once it realized Malaugre was already charging, he quickly came up to speed. Vanguardmon braced his weaponry.

Vanguardmon: Ryo-kun, if you had a plan now would be a good time!

Dariumon: Ditto, Derryn, we need a winner here!!

Derryn: Honestly...I have nothing..they planned everything, from keeping the Council out of the city with the invasion on the other side to occupying the Digimon at Dragon City!

Omegamon: But they didn't count on me!

Daisuke looked up to see Omegamon jet to the forefront of the Tamer's group. Sighs of relief and agitation rose.

Daisuke: So even my modified Dronae couldn't keep you and your Knights down, eh?

Omegamon: Daisuke, you should know better than to think I was actually going to fall to your mindless lapdogs.

Daisuke: No matter..I've grown stronger since our first battle...this time not even you can stop me...

Trash: US, Nima. He can't stop US.

Daisuke: Yeah yeah...

Dagrus: Omegamon, we'll take care of this!

Griffin: Get out of the line of fire!

Omegamon didn't even look back.

Omegamon: You all worry far too much...I can handle this..you should probably just brace for the aftershock..

Ryota: Aftershock?

Vanguardmon: ....he's charging....oh no..Ryota! Shift me to Shielddramon now!

Ryota didn't understand at first, but the idea finally hit as he brought his partner down to his defense form, the dragon casting a shield over his comrades. Sion punched in a code to Foresiveyemon, who raised the earth before the Tamers to act as a first line of defense. Dariumon finjally cast a wall of wind to beef up their chances of survival.

Omegamon: Before I continue...Tigremon, now!!

A white blur suddenly ran alongside the buildings, and the Digitama in Trash's arm was gone.

Trash: The hell?!

Tigremon dashed past the barrier.

Tigremon: Go for it! I got the egg!

Daisuke: Dammit, NIGHTMARE MILLENIUMON! GO!

Omegamon raised his arms, the MetalGarurumon and WarGreymon heads glowing white and fusing into an even brighter light.

Nightmare Milleniumon: Dimensional Breaker!!!

Omegamon brought his arms down as massive amounts of multicolored energy came before Nightmare Milleniumon.

Trash: Malaugre Milleniumon! Combine your attacks!

Malaugre Milleniumon: Warp Metal!!!

Black energy fused into the Dimensional Breaker.

Milleniumon Brothers: Infinity Crusher!!!!!!

Omegamon's arms created a massive v-shaped golden light as they revealed to be a fused version of both heads grasping a golden orb of light.

Omegamon: End this...Gaia Infinite!!!


The golden light shot out, colliding with the combined Milleniumon attack, caushing a massive explosion of energy. The wind and earth shields took a massive beating as the heroes huddled together, unable to do anything.  The energy seemed to affect all three barriers, weakening them considerably. If it kept up, they and the forms they protected would be history.

Omegamon: Grrr...

Daisuke was channeling his energy into Nightmare Milleniumon. Trash tried, but quickly retreated as he couldn't handle the energy surge. Malaugre was out of the match, but Nightmare stayed with it, still fueled by the combined attack and his Tamer.

Daisuke/Nightmare Milleniumon:DIE!!!!!!

Omegamon: N..not..NOT TODAY!!!!!!

Both sides surged forward, the resulting explosion practically ripping open the heavens. Space and time shifted and formed back multiple times simultaneously. Finally, white covered the entire area.

The heroes opened their eyes...only to see white. They soon realized nothing around them. Daisuke came to the same conclusion, as did the other Dark Five.

In the opposite side of the city, Stone and Shinkou looked on, their Ultimate level partners frozen in amazement as a large pillar of light and dark energy extended into the sky.

From Dragon City, Captain Greymon and Elddramon stood before a heap of Dronae husks, looking on at the pillar with similar amazement.

Stone: What...in the world..

Shinkou: ....this can't be a good sign.

Stone looked at his Digivice.

Stone: Can anyone hear me?

The comlink only produced static...

Captain Greymon: This...is the beginning of a new direction in history...good or bad I cannot tell...

Elddramon: Indeed...


Outside her apartment window, an young black woman with shiny violet hair watched the pillar with high interest.

From the Sun Dial restaurant, Mr. and Mrs. Mishima, as well as Rin and Umbria looked towards the pillar with worry, wondering if their family was in the pillar of light.

From his bedroom window, Junya held his Ryuuzamon plushie tightly.

Junya: Ryo-sama...Izumi-san....

From the labs, Egon, Peter, Winston, and Raymond watched the pillar on the monitors, the computers unable to scan the energy properly. Nagi visibly shook with fear, her own typing stopped.

From their mansion, Lueius looked on in concern. Devon's eyes were wide with fear, Noirlunamon on her shoulder looking sad.

Devon: Oh no......Daisuke....

Dussander stood on a roof not far from the pillar, his labcoat lashing about in the wind.

Dussander: So it begins like this...

Inside the pillar, Daisuke dashed towards the Tamers. Ryota drew Einlanzer but Daisuke quickly had Lynx at his neck.

Or that would be the case..if they had their weapons.

The Ancient Weapon users looked up...Einlanzer, Oni-Nightmare, Huntress, Mjolnir, Nachtwaffe, and Lynx revolved around two still figures.

Nightmare Milleniumon and Omegamon, both their eyes pitch black.

Ryota: Now what..?

Daisuke: The hell is going on?

You have opened a seal that should not have been tampered with...

Valor: That voice....

Akurei: Voices more like it..sounds like the ones we heard back in the Chrono-Matrix.

The conversation was cut short as the light vanished, replaced by darkness. The forms of Nightmare Milleniumon and Omegamon turned white and exploded with energy, blinding the group. When it was all over, they were back in the city.....but balls of energy floated around them. The Digimon were all devolved to Child level, with the exception of Omegamon...he was separated into a WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon again, both looking somewhat transparent.

Finally, the orbs faded away, and the two Ultimate level Digimon fused back into Omegamon, who went down on one knee.

Daisuke: ....retreat.

The Dark Five and their digimon teleported away. The heroes tried to keep conscious, but fatigue hit them all quite hard, and they fell over.

Part 2: Light Stage

Ryota: WHAT?!?!

The Tamers and Digimon, days after the battle in downtown, stood within the labs looking at Dussander in shock.

Dussander: That is the case, I'm afraid.

Stone: Kurt, you're basically telling us that Nightmare Milleniumon and Omegamon's attacks were made up of Dimensional DNA?

Dussander: Yes....DNA that can warp time and space itself. The pillar of light was all that DNA in a very concentrated state.

Egon piped in.

Egon: Juding from reports and analysis, the orbs you saw were samples of Dimensional DNA..it's hard to say what can happen when wielded.

Dussander: Hoever, I think obtaining some will help our D-Hyper equipped friends here.

Ryota and Akurei nodded, though still unsure.

Dussander: We'll have to add some modification to your Digivices to make this all work. I hope you don't mind.

Dagrus: If we need them to contain the Dimensional Energy, go for it.

Dussander: But also understand something else..Dimensional Energy is an untapped power source...be extremely careful in handling it. Ironically.....

Carrie: ..vhat is it, Herr Dussander?

Dussander: Your Digimon absorbed some of the Dimensional Energy...be extremely careful in battle.

Ryuuzamon wimpered in worry. The other Digimon did what was characteristic, whether clinging to significants, making weak jokes, or growling, it all came out.

Dussander: Well then..I suggest we move on...

The monitor changed to a reformated V2 Digivice.

Dussander: V2X, the next step in Guard Technology. It is the only thing we can use to start containing the Dimensional Energy.

Stone: ....Sin will want this..with a wide production he'll try to modify his Dronae even further.

Guy: hm....well..Deitymon did warn us.

Kasumi: Well yeah but he didn't say THIS would happen!

Ryota: ..It's a necessary evil.

Izumi: Ryo-chan?

Ryota: Doctor Dussander, what else can the V2X do?

Dussander: Glad you asked. You see, the DNA Enhancement Program had to be overhauled some. It is now a separate computer called the DigiMod. After analyzing the Dimensional DNA, it has been fine tuned to contain it, as well as make DNA Enhancement easier to accomplish. Now, I suggest we get to work..unlike us, Sin has a large, ready supply of Dimensional DNA.

Akurei: ..the Milleniumon Brothers.

Dussander: Exactly. I suggest we go on.

Ryota growled at the idea...

The CAIN War just evolved into a whole new animal...
