Wow that sparked a lot of comments on SA as well as here...... I'll post what I put up on my Zelda Club on SA. Ignore some pieces of it as it's more SA-specific... but meh.<hr>First off, I'm sorry that I "fell for it". It looked cool and I didn't notice the date at all. I did go to the site and did not notice a mark for a joke anywhere, so I posted it here. I also got pounced about it on my RPG Forum. I did, however, post it with a question mark and state that I was hesitant about the concept overall.

It's still an interesting thought, though I will nod to what my friend, Cam, had said on the RPG board... "O_o; I actually think this is a hoax. The sword designs could be from anywhere and some of the Link art just plain ol' fan art. Besides, Nintendo is about great fun and all but changing up the formula to a franchise that's been there for them since the beginning..I dunno. Most developers will try to stick to the winning formula."

He's right and so are you guys. Miyamoto-sensei wouldn't change up the formula at this stage in the game and despite the fact that it's hard to fit Capcom's games into the timeline, they still follow the same general ideas when they made the GameBoy games.

Second, it's just rather creepy that jokes and discussions about things wound up in this in the first place. That if it ever happened, those very things would be in it... then I find that video. Probably why I fell for it.

Third, while most of you laughed at my stupidity and nieve-ness about this thing, I got the feeling some of you were angry at me and outright yelling at me. Whether this is true or not, I didn't like it. I'm sorry I posted what I did, but I didn't need the yelling, thank you.

Lastly, thank you all for pointing out the specifics contained within the video clip and verifying that it is indeed just a joke. I apologize that my college schedule and workload has not allowed me to do much more than I have with this club, but I thank all of you for your submissions and I enjoy looking at all the art you've shared with this club thus far. I look forward to more discussions and artwork... and when I get some time over break, I hope to share more of my own artwork with you guys. (My tablet finally died and my birthday is next month. I'm hoping to get a new tablet for it. That'd be lovely. @____@; )

And in response, no, I do not know any information on the next game they actually ARE developing. However, going by the past games and that formula, it probably will be a sequel of some sort to TP. Phantom Hourglass is, I believe, supposed to take place after the Wind Waker/Kaze no Takuto, which is part of why it has the same graphics as that game. The DS has the ability to have those "cartoony" graphics versus the SP and below's graphical capabilities...

Again, I'm sorry if anyone actually took offense to my stupidity despite the rather funny fact that I think this is the first time so many of you have come together and spoken in the club since we got it up and running on SA's new Club System...

^^;;; Yeah...

The Link art used is all *definitely* fan-art.... And everything else basically just looks like a hodgepodge of random futuristic images.

Also, notice the date the video was added? March 31st. Methinks it was an April Fool's joke XD

Yeah, but the problem is I heard about these ideas before. It's weird...

And I didn't find anything about it being a joke on the site... Most places say something about it having been a joke AFTER it happens, but nothing...

Well the site is called Wii.tv. An American make. You can do a lot of pranks with the internet. >_>; Only way I'd believe it is if the big wigs at Nintendo themselves said "LINK FUTURE". As I said, no way they'd change the formula NOW. Besides, getting help from SQUARE ENIX is the biggest tip off. Why would they try and help a franchise that they have to compete with?

I didn't know they had a competition with Square Enix. O_o;

So I'm stupid and nieve about it I guess.

I can still think the idea's kinda cool, though. >_>; *flings a fish at you*
