Alright people, though I have some ideas I wanna hear from you, the players, about the next story arc in DDT. No, it's not a vote on one of my ideas sort of thing, but I actually wanna hear your ideas for the next big story arc. Submit multiple ones if you like.

After sorting through the ideas, I'll decide which one gets the green light. There may be second and third places as well, to be plots used afterward. The big winner will get a background/wallpaper based on the premise of the idea and small digital design bible containing character designs and backgrounds also pertaining to the idea. Your character will also be granted one of if not the best DNA Pack in the game, the Ultime Genome, which contains ten of each DNA, one Ultimate Class Digimon Weapon, and two Ultimate DigiCores. If you have multiple characters, only one of them gets the pack.

Lemme say this right now, unless no one does this, I'm submitting squat. I really want everyone else's ideas. If it's an idea I talked to you about before this, it's invalid. I want fresh material right out of your noggins. Don't let me down!

EDIT: Oh, wait, this is important. The deadline for this little contest is October 26.  On that day I expect to see some real winners when I come back from class.

.:Synopsis:.
In preparation for the Guardian Grand Expo, many national Guard Teams have dispatched their candidates to foreign countries to test themselves for the upcoming trials.  Cyan is no different, and though consisting primarily of NPC's, they have also sent a group out to various countries.

Playing host to a number of challengers from other lands, things seem to be going well enough as it is... but lately, no word has returned from the dispatched groups about the state of things in other countries, and those here in Cyan find they can't communicate back to their homes either.

Things get quite a bit more troubling when all come to realize that it's not even possible to arrive on or leave Cyan. Who could be behind this? One of the competitors her eon Cyan? Or is it someone on the outside, trying to insure that Cyan doesn't enter the Expo?


(I actually have vague ideas for a number of variant plots to this one, and possibly a sequel plot. It's a little bit less climatic battle, a little more problem-solvey. I might make a few more submissions, and I do need to work on the behind-the-presentation idea for this one a bit more but FIRST SUBMISSION GET!)

Title: From Beyond the Stars

Important Characters: Meteor Girl, Tetsuo(he led the mission and brought her to labs), Others.

Enemies: Alien Digimon race (Meteor girl is King's Daughter)

Important Locations: City of Cyan, Shima Forest, Outside of Mirai; Other Locations

Synopsis:
Ever since the mysterious female digimon was discovered in the impact site, she has been monitered at the Gaurd System Development Labs.  This girl was an enigma, for she was composed completely of Dimensional DNA.  However, unbeknownst to the lab technicians, the girl is not as dormant as she appears.  For some time, she has been conscience and has already sent a distress signal into space to her people.  Recieving her signal, her people prepared to make the trek to Earth.  Ahead of them, they sent a small group of scouts to Earth to preform a reconnaissance mission and to observe the people the girl identifyed as the people of Cyan.  Since that time, the scouts have been blending in as humans, watching, and waiting for their people to give the signal to start the second phase of the plan...and they've just recieved it.

Meanwhile, the Gaurd Teams have been investigating a number of mysterious disappearances in the City of Cyan.  Also, the Mobius Space Center has detected a large mass in deep space headed for Earth.  Is it possible that the three are connected?  Or is it merely a coincidence?  Just what could this "second phase" of the race's plan entail?  And what will it mean for the people of Mirai?

((I know the girl is from a previous encounter, but the plot I have behind it and what would come to pass is original (I thought of it yesterday in my Study Hall).  So if it is valid cool, if not, I'll try something different. I also have a number of different elements that could be changed about the story if needed.  Other then that, I'm happy I could be apart of the competition.))

The plot would have two major portions, maybe three technically, ill explain each one, one story at a time to make it easier on the eyes.  Give a basic plot overview, some basics like the villains names, simple stuff as I don’t want to give away much or else it be boring.

Title: Opening Doors

Main characters: Hunter, anyone else who wants in to fight of course is always welcome...Hunter's just cooler then you

Villains: Narthex, Necroval

Important Locations: Guardian Headquarters, cyan square,  other locations

This arc would start off with the odd call of two incidents.  One being an unknown man attacking one of Cyan’s Weapons research facilities.  The other being a tamer robbing a bank, killing everyone that gets in his way.  The tamers would be split into two groups to stop both attacks. What happens in the battles I wont say, but Both get away, beginning the investigation of why they were going after what they were going after, as they left little clues. Perhaps their answer will be revealed in the second attack, were Narthex has undergone a bizarre change!  But only one thing will be noticed in the second attack.  Narthex seems to treat Necroval as no more then an animal, a brainless beast.  How does that affect the story?  Well…….find out >_>

Arc 2: Twilight Descent

Main Character: Byin, and well…this is world encompassing so everyone X_X;

Villains: Gorre Nevius, his freaking army, Narthex, Bishop Gabriel, Queen.

Important locations: Other locations, Excalibur mountains, Cyan city, Cyan Square, Guardian Headquarters.  Dark Ocean


At the point were this starts, some answers are beginning to piece together, but the problem is still catching the brains behind the duo, Narthex.  With some help from an unlikely source it seems the evil of Narthex is at an end, but just when all seems to be wrapped up an even greater evil appears.  The man is Gorre of the Nevus Fluxuai, a self proclaimed god of the dark ocean with an army to enforce his will.  He comes to bring a new order to the world, to end all suffering and usher in a new age under his watchful eye, finding it his duty.  Any that submit will live, all that resist will feel god’s wrath, and he wont stop until his goals are a reality.  Now not only Mirai, but also the world and even scum like Vorse are in danger from his plots, will they unite to strike down his armies?  Or will he create his world?  But one word is the key to Gorre’s goal, Shadowfauxis.

I felt the need to really separate it into two separate arcs, as the first part I had in mind ends at a pretty big moment, that and since I intend it to be long, if everyone wants when the first part ends we can do someone else’s story then go to my second part.

Title:
The Crucible Cold War

Prismaera, the Dark Area, Magali Ruins...  Possibly a new area

Brief Synopsis:

While in a state of comparative peace, especially given how the Guard System tends to frown on open hostilities between the basins of Light and Darkness in the Mirai archepelago, the fact remains that forces of both sides have a tendency to make occasional sniping runs on the other when they feel they could get away with it.

However, a new discovery from one of the handful of research expeditions to a recently discovered wing of the Magali Ruins has located an archive from the Crucible War, a borderline legendary conflict between the adherents to both particular forces.  As well as containing quite a few incredibly powerful artifacts that both particular sides would very much like to have.  While the Guard System is--for obvious reasons--very keen on maintaining neutrality, and ideally keeping both sides from getting a new toy that could disrupt the balance of power enough that they would be willing to risk the System's wrath to eliminate their hated foes...

Ideally, this plot would also avoid casting one side as the "Good Guys" or the "Bad Guys", each one has legitimate greviances with the other, and the Guard System is stuck in the middle trying to keep things from erupting into open war.  Any details can be hammered out if the concept is ran with

Title: Occult Rising

Important Characters: Guy, Foreign NPCs; others

Enemies: 4 Gaurdians of Occult; Their Master(explained later in arc)

Important Locations: Megali Ruins, Outside of Mirai, Dark Area (maybe); other locations.

Synopsis:
With the age of exploration in full force, Mirai is bustling with the activities of archeologists young and old.  Many have begun digging in hopes of finding that next great find.  Some dig for money, others for the sheer joy of archeology.  The result of this is something no one would have expected.  A team recently began their dig near the Megali Ruins.  When one of the diggers found something, the team was suprised to find it was a door, a large door.  When the team tried to remove it from the ground, they discovered it was the opening to a large spiral stairwell into the earth.  As the team moved deeper into the earth, some of the teams equipment indicated that the stairwell led far beneath the Megali Ruins.  They reached the stairwell's end as it opened into what appeared to be the ruins of a long forgotten sanctuary from ancient times.  Judgeing from the the amount of art depicting skulls and the runes around the walls, the team deduced the sanctuary was not at all a place of holy worship.  The leader of the team,  Atticus Simmons, made the decision to report the discovery and investigate no further.  However, his decision was in vain, for the youngest member of the team, Jonathan Reems,  had made his way up to the decaying alter, at the far end of the chamber, where a large peg was protruding from it's center.  Not thinking of his actions, Jonathan pushed down on the peg.  Suddenly, the runes began to shine around the room and in a great flash, four figures rose from behind the alter in a swirling aura.  The four thanked Jonathan for releasing them, the Four Gaurdians of Occult, from their prison.  And  just as soon as they appeared, the four spirited out of the chamber, laughing, speaking of the soon return of their master...

Just what has been released upon the Island of Mirai...nay, the world?  Who exactly are the Four Gaurdians of Occult?  Who is their master? And just what does he have planned?

(Alright here's my second entry.  I have alot thought out for this arc as well if it is ran with.  Fine details can be edited later if needed.)
