If it weren't for needing at least one place people can post to ask for help on log in screw ups, this forum would become Members Only Posting. It's the Spambots that made me put the poster levels in place. Hell, even GAIA was hit with phpBB Bots!! X_X;

*You can't post outside of GD/Beta unless you're a member of the board. This allows for "I can't log in!" messages without 60 new accounts popping up.

**Once a member, you still can't post in the RP areas until your bio is approved and you're added to the Player's Usergroup...

***The Adult Forum is the highest Secured, actually. You have to be a member of the Adults Group AND the Player's Group to get in there. ;

Frankly, for a bot to get past GD or the Beta Board at the moment would be amazing...

But yeah, PhpBB seems to be particularly suscpetable to the spambots lately O_o;; It's gotten bad to the point where I needed to turn on Admin Verification on AS to keep them pinned.

I think the massive amounts of Russian Spam advertising Viagra are my favorite. It makes you think before you delete. "Should I screencap or.... just clear?" >_>

Here's a topic. Lately we've been getting spam bots posting here, and after feeding so many to Yama, I thought of something. What's, in your opinion, the best spam bot post you've ever seen. Email, a post at this board or any board for that matter.

My personal favorite is the one that says "please don't delete these urls, my child needs money."
