OK, she has passport, that is gold, it's US passport, so that is even better.
Now, customs will do nothing, the only thing to worry about is immigration, they watch the buses like hawks.
If she says nothing and just shows her passport, no one will even ask questions.
That has been my personal experience.

Thank you, Colin... and Ben (AIM) for answering. It's become less confusing.
She was afraid that because she had been there longer than "Visitation" she'd not be allowed to return to the US despite never taking Canadian Citizenship. Though there's some damn good reasons why she hasn't and why she is eager to leave, that's beside the point. She still has her Texas State ID and her US Passport; in my opinion that should mean she's still a legal US Resident/Citizen and they shouldn't argue with her coming home, right? O_o; Cause that's the conclusion that we've come to...
Also, does anyone know how the bus system works? She'll be leaving Montreal by bus, headed for Texas. Most of her trip will be in the US. She's confused about whether she'll need to prove herself to return to the US even if someone sends her the One-Way Ticket for her to have instead of picking it up. I don't know. The only times I ever took Greyhound/a bus was from here to the other side of the state and I just bought it at the station and took off. ^_^;

Yeah, she'd need to reregister if she wanted to stick around past the expiry date...
Though frankly, they're not likely to come looking for her unless she goes around making a big issue of it.
I don't think she'll get in trouble if you reapply either.

Cadence Sama: And I couldn't drive from Canada to Texas.
Cadence Sama: I could pick you up somewhere here and take you to an Airport or Bus Station, but I couldn't to very long. X_X; once you got into the States, you'd be able to pick up a plane or bus and they wouldn't question. O_o; I'd think.
Kamimura Ukyou: i have one question? ..ok I am here past my visiting time..I don't have any citizenship here...would I go to jail >>
Cadence Sama: If you never got anything saying you lived in Canada.... Do you still have any ID from the US? o_O

Kamimura Ukyou: I was gonna try to take bus from canada to texas but you need proof of money..like credit card..lance was willing to buy my ticket..but I dont have the money to show to them oO..its really weird..do you think I could sneak out of canada and hitchhike to your place? >>
Cadence Sama: lol. I would say yes, but if nothing else, you'd be picked up for Hitchhiking. XD;
